Analysis of ethnic differences of Iranian sports fans in the variables of Islamic cohesion, national identity, and perception of sports success

Iran is a country with different ethnicities and religions some negative experiences of conflicts throughout history. It believed that; Sports success factor in the greater convergence country's citizens. This article analyzes ethnic differences Iranian sports fans Islamic cohesion, national identity, perception success. The research was descriptive survey. statistical population all Iranians interested sports, 968 whom participated study voluntarily. instruments were researcher-made questionnaire Perception Success, National Identity Questionnaire Hear James (2007), Cohesion Baghbanian Morowat (2011). content face validity questionnaires confirmed by professors their reliability calculated Cronbach's alpha coefficient 0.78, 0.88, 0.83, respectively. test hypotheses showed variables cohesion identity have statistically significant difference between Shiite Sunni respondents (P <0.05). also had groups <0.05) while there no sporting religious findings emphasized positive functions more country.
